Team

Our passionate team comprises healthcare professionals, researchers, Long COVID survivors, and advocates united by a common mission: to support recovery and enhance the quality of life for those affected by Long COVID. Together, we blend medical expertise, lived experience, and empathy to foster understanding, promote effective treatments, and build a supportive community.

Ivan Belyanov

Ivan Belyanov is a 23-year-old economics student and Long COVID survivor who co-founded Recover Long COVID. He first developed Long COVID in March 2023, recovering after five months—only to relapse following reinfection. The second time, he struggled for 12 months before being successfully treated in a forensic center in Larnaca, Cyprus. Ivan is committed to helping others avoid the suffering he endured by sharing all the knowledge he gained throughout his journey. His ultimate mission is to help find a cure for Long COVID within his lifetime.

Robert Tupikas

Robert Tupikas is a 23-year-old master’s student in Systems Biology and a bachelor of Genetics from Lithuania and co-founded Recover Long COVID with his close friend Ivan. Robert has dedicated himself to decoding the complexities of Long COVID. With his strong scientific background and relentless curiosity, Robert thoroughly analyzes and distills the latest scientific research into easy-to-understand insights—especially for patients experiencing brain fog or cognitive difficulties. His goal is to make the most critical discoveries and treatment advances accessible to all, no matter their cognitive state, empowering patients with clarity, support, and direction.
